研究方向

长期从事森林经营学与森林生态学研究工作。在全球率先开展了基于大面积固定样地的森林经营动态研究,在国家尺度上建立了东北阔叶红松林、中部油松林和西部云冷杉林三大森林生态系统定位监测样带,共建有35块大样地,总面积达345公顷,对100余万株木本植物实现定位观测,已获取了连续8-17年观测数据。

在科学层面,取得了多项创新性研究进展,揭示了森林经营的生态学基础。第一,“十五”公关研究成果“生态采伐研究”被中国绿色时报以“生态采伐全新理念浮出水面”为题进行报道;第二,在林分最大密度格局形成的潜在生态学机制方面取得重要进展,对指导森林经营调控林分密度格局具有重要实践意义。第三,基于样地长期观测数据,揭示了森林经营中树种的采伐偏好,为森林经营过程中目标树选择、经营模拟等提供理论支持。

在技术研发层面,研发的“东北天然林生态系统监测和经营技术”为林业行业专项结题成果;提出的“天然阔叶红松林生态系统生产力提升技术”为973项目重大成果;构建的“长白山阔叶红松林生物多样性维持理论模型体系”为“十二五”国家科技支撑项目结题重大成果。

2000年获得第五届中国林业青年科技奖,2001年获教育部第二届“高校优秀青年教师奖”,2009年被科技部授予“全国野外科技工作先进个人”,2010年获梁希科技进步一等奖,指导博士研究生获2011年“北京市优秀博学位论文”奖、教育部百篇博士学位论文提名奖。

5年主办9次全球森林经营与生物多样性国际学术研讨会。主持期刊编辑部工作,在国际化进程中取得了重要进展。鸟类学研究《Avian Research》参和森林生态系统《Forest Ecosystems》分别于2015年和2017年成功被SCI收录,其中FE进入Q1区。
